Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) will not rest on its laurels in creating mega businesses in the country but will instead build on its achievements and grow to be among the Top-10 business conglomerates of the world.
This was the key message given by Mukesh D. Ambani, chairman, RIL. Ambani was interacting with employees during "Reliance Family Day" on Friday. It marked the 91st birth anniversary of RIL’s founder-chairman Dhirubhai Ambani,
The RIL chief told employees that Reliance will never get complacent. “We are known for disrupting the market through constant innovation and reinvention. We have shown the courage to set the bar high, and the ability to jump even higher to create new records.”
Charting a road map for Reliance to be among the world’s top 10 business conglomerates, Ambani asked the employees to focus on three elements — provide extreme value to customers and unfailingly exceed their expectations, and win community trust.
He also asked them to continuously enrich their competencies and capabilities at every level.
He, however, did not give a specific timeline as to when the goal of being the global Top-10 will be achieved.
Asking them to consolidate their place among global leaders in digital data platforms and AI adoption, he said that Reliance is reinventing itself to become a unique new-age technology company across all its growth engines.
“In the era of digital platforms, data has become a new Factor of Production along with talent and money.
"We need to be at the forefront of using data, with AI as an enabler for achieving a quantum jump in productivity and efficiency,” he said.
