Cafe Duco's crunchy and fiery yumm yumm must try treats gets highlighted

After a successful stint in Mumbai, Cafe Duco is now in Calcutta. Chef Urvika Kanoi who has given Calcutta the likes of the Daily Cafe has launched it in a cloud-kitchen format and we couldn’t be happier to dig into the goodness. You can order via Swiggy and Zomato

“The pop-up that we had last year between Duco and Daily got a great response and we gauged that people actually crave good Mexican food in the city. There are a lot of Tex-Mex places in the city, but none were doing authentic Latin American and Mexican dishes. Calcutta has made me the person that I am, and I wanted to give back to the city. The dishes have a lot of nuances and go beyond your usual wraps and burritos,” said Urvika.

Bebe Elote: A zingy appetiser, this has corn cut into rib-style strips and coated in corn butter and ancho aioli made using mayonnaise, garlic, ancho chilli powder and unseasoned rice vinegar. The Parmesan chilli crumb coating takes the flavours a notch higher.

Gambas Al Ajillo: Juicy and succulent prawns receive a lush bath of chilli, sliced garlic, smoked paprika and oodles of butter. It is served with rustic-style bread to soak in all the juiciness.

Chilli Chicken and Cheese Cubano: A popular street-style favourite, this is a quintessential Cuban sandwich made using grilled spiced chicken, pickled chilli, lettuce and tomatoes with some tangy chipotle sauce. The sauce is made using smoked chipotle peppers and sour cream and balances out the flavours.

Churros: No Latin American or Mexican meal is complete without these sugar and cinnamon sticks served hot with a decadent chocolate sauce for dipping! We love.
