R. Madhavan teased the Netflix release of his supernatural thriller Shaitaan, also starring Ajay Devgn and Jyotika, with a cryptic warning in a video dropped by the streamer on Friday.
Looking menacing in the teaser, Madhavan laughs in a sinister manner before dropping hints about the release date of the movie.“Do you know who is it that you are standing in front of? Do you know who I am and what I can do? You’ll find out tomorrow,” he says in the teaser.
“@actormaddy is cooking something dark and delicious- coming your way soon,” Netflix captioned the video on Instagram.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan follows the struggles of Kabir (Ajay) and his wife (Jyotika) to free their daughter (Janki Bodiwala) from the clutches of an evil sorcerer (Madhavan).
Released theatrically on March 8, Shaitaan registered a strong opening day collection of Rs 14.75 nett in India. The film went on to mint Rs 79.75 crore nett in the first week of its release.
Shaitaan is jointly produced by Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of Panorama Studios, Devgn films and Jio Studios.
