The National Testing Agency (NTA) has stepped forward to ensure the integrity of the NEET (UG) 2024 examination amidst claims of paper leaks. Following an incident of incorrect distribution of question papers at the Girls Higher Secondary Model School, Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, the NTA has taken decisive action.

In response to concerns raised by several social media posts alleging the leakage of NEET 2024 question papers, the NTA has issued a clarification. While acknowledging the isolated incident at the aforementioned examination centre, the NTA has emphasised that the examination process has continued smoothly across all other centres nationwide.

In its official notice, the NTA reassured the public that “this incident has not compromised the integrity of the examination process at other centers. In order to uphold the principles of fairness and equal opportunity for all candidates, the NTA has taken proactive measures.”

Notably, approximately 120 affected candidates from the Girls Higher Secondary Model School examination centre have been provided with the opportunity to reappear for the examination on May 5, 2024. This proactive approach aims to ensure that the academic aspirations of these candidates are not compromised due to the incident.

On May 5, 2024, the NEET (UG) 2024 examination took place at numerous centres in 557 cities across India and 14 cities abroad.

Candidates are urged to refer to the official notification for further details regarding the conduct of the examination.
