T he Pune racing season, 2003, begins from Thursday with very competitive fields in the second-half of the seven-event card. Of the two trophy events – the Almanac Trophy and the July Trophy – on the cards, the seven-year-old Avenging Angel may may surprise in the former event while Great Surprise looks good to lift the July Trophy in the hands of B. Prakash.
