New Delhi, Jan. 31 (PTI): India’s Karan Rastogi went out in the semi-finals of the boys’ singles at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Saturday. Fourth seed Rastogi was upset by eighth seed Gael Monfils of France in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, according to information received here.

Despite the defeat, Rastogi was included in the Davis Cup team for the Asia Oceania group 1 tie against New Zealand at Invercargill from February 6 to 8.

In the mixed doubles final, defending champions Leander Paes and Martina Navratilova, the fourth seeds, will take on Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Montenegro and Elena Bovina of Russia.
