Colombo: Sri Lanka’s cricket chief Thilanga Sumathipala, in custody on charges of breaking immigration laws, Sunday announced he would not seek re-election to the governing body.

Sri Lanka Cricket said its president Sumathiapala will not contest for another term. He will also not attend the ICC’s meeting in Auckland next month. (AFP)
