Special sports

The first position is the ultimate goal and the prize thereafter the most sought thing. At the end, however, everyone is a winner. On Sunday, 585 mentally challenged athletes representing 35 institutions like Nobel Mission, Monovikas Kendra and Attoprotoy participated in the annual inter-school sports organised by Bodhayan at St Xavier’s Ground.

Competing in three categories, divided according to age, the athletes went through an ability test before the final draw. While all winners received medals sponsored by Rotary Club, the others didn’t leave with empty hands either.
