Calcutta, Feb. 21: Former India Davis Cupper Jaidip Mukerjea was felicitated by the South Club on Saturday.

The felicitation was occasioned by Mukerjea’s receiving of the ITF lifetime achievement award. He is the first Indian to have received an honour of such magnitude.

Former Davis Cuppers Premjit Lal and Akhtar Ali were present on the occasion, along with South Club president Subrata Bose and its secretary Navin Bhatia .
