Pakistan, England victorious

Savar: Pakistan crushed Zimbabwe by nine wickets in an Under-19 World Cup Super League match on Monday.

After bundling out Zimbabwe for 141 in 47.4 overs, Tariq Mahmood getting four for 33, Pakistan notched up the required runs in 30 overs. K. Latif was unbeaten on 84.

Meanwhile, in another match, A.N. Cook (108) and S.R. Patel (102) starred in a 97-run victory for England colts against New Zealand.

Chasing 307 for victory, New Zealand were all out for 209 in 42.2 overs. P. Carey (48) and B. Wilson (32) tried to make a match of the total, but were never really up to it.

Zimbabwe 141 in 47.4 ovs (J.G. Cameron 68; Tariq Mahmood 4/33). Pakistan 143/1 in 30 ovs (K. Latif 84, Abid Ali 43). Pakistan won by 9 wkts.
