Shivaji row

Mumbai, March 28 (PTI): Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray tonight said American author James Laine, whose book on Shivaji has triggered a controversy, would be “dealt with” if the NDA is voted back to power.

“We will deal with Laine.… Let our government come to power,” he said at meeting that kickstarted the Sena-BJP’s poll campaign in Maharashtra. The ruling NCP had banned the book, Shivaji: A Hindu King in Islamic India, and demanded that the Centre clamp a countrywide ban.
