Lodhgar’s 4 in Tollygunge victory

Murtaza Lodhgar’s four-wicket haul helped Tollygunge Agragami to a 82-run victory over Mohammedan Sporting in the A.N. Ghosh memorial meet on Sunday.

BRIEF SCORES: Tollygunge Agragami 181/6 (Charanjit Singh 69, Devang Gandhi 37). Mohammedan Sporting 99/9 (Murtaza Lodhgar 4/12, Sanjib Goel 2/20). Tollygunge won by 82 runs.

Beighton qualifier

CCFC defeated BNR 6-0 in the Beighton Cup qualifying match on Sunday. Gurdhyan Singh, Roshan Minz and Srikanta Maity scored a brace each. The winners led 3-0 at the breather.

Bank soccer

Allahabad Bank entered the final of the Eastern region bank football meet. In the semi-final Sunday, Allahabad Bank overcame UBI by a Basudeb Mondal goal. BOI will meet Union Bank in the other semi-final. The final comes off on Tuesday.
