ELIGIBILITY: For (1) and (2) students having consistently
good academic record with at least 50 per cent marks at the degree exam of a recognised

PARTICULARS: The selection process begins with shortlisting
of candidates based on CAT (to be conducted by the IIMs on November 21, 2004)
scores, academic performance, etc. Sale of forms (started from November 8, 2004)
will close on April 1, 2005. The cost of application forms, etc. is Rs 1,000 if
purchased directly across the counter. To receive the same by post, send a demand
draft of Rs 1,100 in favour of Welingkar Institute of Management Development

National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune

SUBJECT: PG programme in banking and finance (PGPBF).
ELIGIBILITY: At least a three years bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline
recognised by by AIU/ AICTE as eligible for PG studies in management. Students
expecting to complete their degree examination by June 2005 may also apply.
PARTICULARS: Candidates seeking admission to PGPBF will have to appear for
CAT. Candidates will have to apply to NIBM on a separate application form, furnishing
CAT registration number and centre number. Request for prospectus, etc. should
be accompanied with a demand draft of Rs 800 drawn in favour of National
Institute of Bank Management, payable at Pune. The request should specify
the candidates name, mailing address, e-mail ID and telephone number. Requests
should be mailed to Co-ordinator, PGPBF, National Institute of Bank Management,

All India Radio (AIR), Calcutta
Last date: November 26, 2004, for the receipt of completed application
forms.
SUBJECT: All India Radio is launching its Voice Articulation Nurturing Initiative
(Vani) certificate in Hindi. The certificate is now compulsory for applicants
as announcers to AIR.
ELIGIBILITY: Graduates aged between 19-35 years can apply. It is mandatory
for the applicants to reside within city limits.
PARTICULARS: Candidates need to submit photocopies of age proof and a fee of
Rs 300 through money order to appear for the voice auditions. Send all applications

700001.The voice auditions for the Hindi course will be held between December
16-18, 2004. After passing the auditions, one becomes eligible for the certificate
course. Applications for the VANI certificate in English will be accepted between
December 14-31, 2004. The voice auditions in English will take place in January.
