Dear friends, this week?s site promises to be a lot of fun. This one is called easymaths.com. You must be wondering, mathematics and fun? Yes that?s the aim of the site ? to introduce the subject to readers in a way that it becomes easy to handle and fun to learn.

The language used to explain the terms and concepts is simple and conversational and it even takes a dig or two at those who try to make the subject look daunting.

Since it is a UK-based website, it is designed for GCSE students. However, it also mentions that as mathematics is a universal subject, much of the content is relevant to math courses around the world.

The homepage of the site is divided into four major sections. First, there is the ?tutorial? which introduces and explains the various topics. This page also provides tips for solving nasty math problems. Don?t forget to visit this page.

The second section is the ?exam bank?. You may browse through it but since all the files are in the pdf format, you?ll need an acrobat reader to download them and read them. Given all this, you can skip this section if you like.

The third and the most useful part of the site is the ?practice room" where you can practise answering a lot of questions. It also provides the answers to the questions. It should be a great help to all.

And once you are done with the real stuff (I won?t call it serious because the site doesn?t want to portray math as a serious subject) you can check out the games and puzzles section. It?s sure to be a lot of fun. Happy browsing!
