Bank wage pact

Mumbai, June 2: The Indian Banks? Association today signed a wage agreement with eight staff unions. The signatories included IBA chairman A. K. Purwar, IDBI chairman V. P. Shetty, Bank of Maharashtra chairman S. C. Basu and Central Bank chairman Dalbir Singh. Four officers? and four employee unions have agreed to the terms of the pact.

Yes Bank IPO

Mumbai, June 2: Yes Bank has set a price band of Rs 38-45 for its initial public offering (IPO), which will open on June 15 and close on June 21. The bank will offer 7 crore shares through a 100 per cent book-building route. The proceeds will be used to implement its growth plans and strengthen the capital base.

Sterlite net

New Delhi, June 2: Sterlite Industries India Ltd has reported a 46.02 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 106.42 crore for the year ended March 31 compared with Rs 197.15 crore last year. The board has recommended a dividend of 60 per cent (Rs 3 per share of Rs 5 each).

Jet services

Mumbai, June 2: Jet Airways will operate four additional services in a week to the US. The government has approved seven services a week on the Mumbai-Brussels-Newark route, the airline has informed the BSE.

CII meet

Calcutta, June 2: A CII interactive session with Citu general secretary Kali Ghosh stressed on the need to forge partnerships between trade unions and management for higher growth.
