place is safe against terrorist attacks, least of all our Metro. If Metro
officials can?t stop the spate of suicides on the tracks, how can they stop terrorists?
There are security loopholes galore: dysfunctional metal detectors, lack of round-the-clock
vigilance, and so on. The government should learn a lesson or two from the global
scenario and step up security.

I
don?t think security at our Metro stations is anywhere near the ideal. The
security officials there are careless. They either sit on the chairs or stand
outside the stations. The way the whole security question is handled at our Metro
stations is highly questionable.

No.
The terrorists are maniacs and are capable of disrupting our lifeline ? the
Metro. The attack on the Indian Parliament showed just how safe we really are!
Keeping in mind the recent terrorist attacks in London, the security system in
our Metro stations should be looked into as soon as possible.

The attacks at Akshardham temple and at Ayodhya have proved that militants
are now well-organised, well-trained, and tech-savvy. The security system at Metro
stations needs to be beefed up.

No,
our Metro is not safe against potential terrorist attacks, thanks to the absence
of proper security measures. Usually, no security guards are to be found near
the metal detectors and most of the detectors do not even work properly. There
are no adequate means of detecting foul play either.
