Four up-and-coming vocalists lend voice to 17 Tagore numbers in this disc, each singing four apiece, the last one being a chorus. Anuradha Biswas deep, sensitive voice delicately plays out the nuances of songs like Amritero sagare and Chokher aloye dekhe chhilem. The journey-motif (a recurrent one in Tagore numbers) and the spirit of samarpan (total submission) come alive in Samyo Bandopadhyays Pantho tumi pantho joner. Madhumita Bhattacharya soulfully explores the mood of revelry and revelation in Eki labonye purno prano while Pradip Dasguptas sombre base enlivens Pathe chole jete jete, another journey song. The chorus Aguner parasmoni is well-coordinated, too. A creditable exposure of talents, altogether.

A true celebration of the great bards creation, child artistes are at their best in this album. Songs interspersed with poetry gives this album a new dimension. Masterbabu, Bigya, Raja Rani, Rabibar, Birpurush, Chhoto Boro, Biday, Putul Bhanga are Tagores tribute to the little souls, while songs like Ore grihabashi, Ore aayre tabe, E din aaji are a major hit with the little ones merely for their simple and vibrant tunes.
