CALCUTTA
Dancing, Bollywood style

The new session in colleges has indeed started with a bang as was evident at Enigma 2005, the fest organised by the students of Bhawanipore Education Society.

Held over two days, July 19 and 20, at the Kala Mandir auditorium, Enigma 2005 was all about putting on your dancing shoes. This programme consisted of 30 items strongly inspired by Bollywood.

Choreographed by Amrita and Bindra, all the performances went on to showcase the unique talent of the students. The show by the 15-member team Dus bahane, really took our breath away.

ASSAM
Law and media

On July 9, our college, in collaboration with the Advocates Club, Guwahati, had organised a seminar on ?The Legal Status of Media & its Role in Fostering Legal Consciousness in Society?. P.G. Agarwal, Justice, Guwahati High Court, was the chief speaker.

Various senior advocates shared their viewpoints with us. It was a learning experience away from the classrooms and it was also an eyeopener of sorts. Such seminars should be held more often.
