Yes, you can procure your LLM from the National University of Singapore. You can either opt for the research degree or the coursework degree. The coursework programme is a one-year full-time programme that offers a law graduate further training in new or more advanced areas of the law.
In the research programme, the minimum period of candidature is one year, and the maximum is three years, during which the candidate has to submit his thesis.
The admission requirement for both the programmes is a bachelors degree in law. But your result needs to be really good.
Foreign candidates are required to submit their TOEFL/ IELTS scores. For research programmes a TOEFL score of 600 or an IELTS score of 6.5 is required and for the coursework programme a TOEFL score of 580 or an IELTS score of 6 is required. The NUS faculty of law may, at its discretion, require a personal interview with the candidate, either in Singapore or in the candidate?s home country.
In some cases, such interviews may be conducted over the telephone. The tuition fee for LLM (research programme) is approximately S$4790 per year (Rs 1,24,000 approximately) and the tuition fee for LLM (coursework programme) is approximately S$6000 (Rs 1,54,000 approximately). All the best.
