New Delhi: Manan Chandra put up an impressive show in his last league match to qualify for the knockout stage of the 21st Asian Snooker Championship in Bangkok Thursday.
According to information received here, the talented Indian ? seeded No. 12 ? thrashed Nay Thawe Oo of Myanmar 4-0 to become the second qualifier from group E.
Chandra lost only one of his five matches ? to group topper Kobkit Palajin ? en route to the pre-quarters.
The 24-year-old Indian dominated his Myanmarese opponent in the best-of-seven frame to come through 75-4, 62-7, 65-8 73-17.
He will face Chan Kwok Ming to decide who goes through to the last eight.
Former world champion and last years finalist Pankaj Advani has already made it to the last 16 from group B. (PTI)
