Sayandeb assignment

Sayandeb Chakraborty left the city Saturday on a three-month assignment to coach a Kuwait club. Sayandeb, one of the coaches at BTA's junior development programme, has taken three months? leave.

He has previously trained Sri Lankan players over a period of a year and a half.

Loreto House A and B teams will clash in the title-round of the Inter-school Girls Basketball meet on Sunday. In the semi-finals on Saturday, Loreto House A beat Welland Gouldsmith 24-16 while Loreto House B defeated Ballygunge Siksha Sadan 29-20. The final will be played on Sunday.
