Brazilian playmaker Juninho has extended his contract with Olympique Lyon for three seasons and said he hopes to stay with the French champions until the end of his career. The 30-year-old midfielder's previous contract ran until June 2006. "I hope I'll have the chance to stay with Lyon until the end of my career," Juninho said. "I have been lucky to win four titles in a row here." Lyon plan to sign Brazilian striker Fred from Cruzeiro on Sunday but club's chairman Jean-Michel Aulas said that the deal had not yet been sealed.
