The film, harry potter and the goblet of fire was great. In the film, Harry is mysteriously selected as the fourth competitor in a risky Triwizard Tournament. Each contestant in this international competition is required to confront a fire-breathing dragon, rescue friends from the icy depths of the Black Lake, and navigate the twisting mysteries of a vast, dangerous maze. Gamers are likely to experience the thrills of the movie ? from the Quidditch World Cup campsite to a heart-stopping duel with Lord Voldemort himself! Gamers will also notice that the three friends ? Harry, Ron and Hermione have grown much older. Their voices are more husky and they sound mature. Initially, you can choose to play among the three friends and find yourself in and out of Hogwarts, discovering a whole new world, learning new spells, jinxing different creatures and completing various things to get Harry into the tournament.
At this level, you can actually play any of the three characters. But it is only Harry who can compete in the three tournament tasks. As you complete the tasks and beat up the bad guys, you will be able to earn cards or collect Bertie Botts Beans.
The more Beans you gather, the more options you get to purchase bonus cards which award you with elements such as stamina, spells, etc. These extra boosts are of help and are likely to come handy later.
The first task in the Triwizard tournament has Harry flying on his broomstick trying to avoid the Horn Tail Dragon, while making an effort to grab the protected golden egg. The second task has Harry swimming and exploring the bottom of the lake where danger seems to be lurking as he attempts to save Ron from the murky depths. The final task needs him to race through a seemingly endless maze trying to be the first to place his hands on the Triwizard Cup.
Gameplay in The Goblet of Fire is a bit confusing at times, and if you are looking for something really challenging, you are in for disappointment. Along the way, you can collect Bertie Bott?s Every-Flavour Beans, which you get when let away by defeated creatures, or by casting spells or jinxing.
The beans serve as currency, which you can use to purchase cards to add extra power to each character, such as an increasing spell power or extra health. Graphically, the three characters in The Goblet of Fire have been portrayed well, and this is bolstered by good voice acting.
However, you may find the constant repetition of spell words throughout the game a little annoying. One thing that definitely could have been added to the game is more leverage from the movie.
