SUBJECT: National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology and IGNOU, New Delhi, invite applications for admission to the first year of the three-year BSc programme in hospitality and hotel administration for 2006-2007.
ELIGIBILITY: Candidates should have passed the Plus-Two exam or equivalent in any stream with English as one of the subjects. Candidates appearing for their Plus-Two exam in 2006 may also apply. The upper age limit for general candidates is 22 years as on July 1, 2006 and the same for scheduled caste (SC)/ scheduled tribes (ST) candidates is 25 years as on the same date.

SUBJECT: The all-India admission test to be held on May 7, 2006 at Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kochi and Mumbai for admission to the BA, LLB (honours) and LLM (master of laws) programmes for 2006-2007.
ELIGIBILITY: For the undergraduate programme the eligibility is a pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent with not less than 50 per cent marks. Students taking qualifying examination in March or April, 2006, are also eligible to apply. The age limit is below 20 years as on July 1, 2006. For SC/ ST candidates, the age limit is 22 years. To be eligible for the postgraduate programme, the candidates need to have passed the BL/ LLB/ BA,LLB (honours) examination with 50 per cent marks in the aggregate. Candidates appearing for final examination this year are also eligible to apply.
PARTICULARS: For application and prospectus, please write to the Registrar, NLSIU, giving full address with pincode and the course for which the application is required with a bank draft for Rs 1000 drawn in favour of the Registrar, NLSIU, Bangalore. The envelope must be superscribed in bold letters, indicating the appropriate course for which the application is required. The total student intake for the UG course is 80 with 15 per cent for SC and 7.5 per cent for ST candidates. There are seats reserved for overseas candidates too.
