SUBJECT: Admission test to be conducted by the institute at Calcutta, Ranchi, and Jorhat (in eastern India) for admissions to MSc courses in forestry, wood science and technology, environment management, one-year postgraduate diploma (PGD) courses in natural resource management and management of non wood forest product.

ELIGIBILITY: For MSc in forestry: three-year BSc degree with at least one of the following subjects: botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, zoology, or a bachelors degree in agriculture or forestry. For MSc in wood science and technology: three-year BSc degree with physics, mathematics and chemistry or BSc in forestry. For MSc in environment management: three-year BSc degree in any branch of basic or applied sciences or BSc in forestry or agriculture or BE/BTech in environment science. For PGD in natural resource management: MSc in any discipline. For PGD in management of non wood forest product: MSc in botany, zoology, forestry, chemistry.
