Proud parents

Kyala and oscar are beaming with joy. They have just had a new downy chick after losing their first one who disappeared from Amazon World Zoo on the Isle of Wight. Zoo owner Derek Curtis is celebrating the new birth. Curtis, it has been reported, has said that he will compensate for the absence of three-month-old Toga who went missing some time ago. Zookeepers fear Toga might have been stolen. Penguins have gained incredible popularity the world over after the release of the film Marching of the Penguins. A lot of people now want a penguin as a pet. However, the new chick is being well looked after. Close circuit television cameras and motion sensors have been installed in its cage. The little one belongs to the Jackass Penguin species found in South Africa.

Are you a great fan of Tom and Jerry? Do you think the duo, known for their mind-blowing antics and breathtaking chases, are simply adorable? Well then, here’s some good news for you. India’s very own Disneyland is going to be set up soon. Named Planet POGO and Cartoon Network Townsville, these parks will be located in Rohini (Delhi) and Noida (UP). So, you’ll get a chance to shake a leg with Tom and Jerry. Hopefully it won’t be long before Calcutta has her own Disneyland.
