Dhoni, Yuvraj, Dravid in top-10

Dubai: Australian batsmen reigned supreme in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI rankings, occupying the top three slots.

Skipper Ricky Ponting leads the table with a record tally of 805 points. His deputy Adam Gilchrist is second and Andrew Symonds has reached a career-high third spot. The latter is also ranked third in the allrounder’s charts.

South African captain Graeme Smith is back in the top ten at fourth while India’s Mahendra Singh Dhoni is joint fifth along with his Sri Lankan counterpart Kumar Sangakkara.

There are a total of five Aussies in the top 10, with Mike Hussey at seventh and Michael Clarke at ninth.

Apart from Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh (eighth) and captain Rahul Dravid (10th) are the other Indians in the list.
