Hair assault

Calcutta, March 30: The owner of an iron goods unit was arrested tonight for allegedly thrashing a female employee and cutting off her hair.

Shib Shankar Ray suspected that Beauty Baidya, 30, regularly stole goods from his factory on West Canal Road, police said. Around 7 pm today, he allegedly beat her, cut off her hair and drove her out of the factory.
