Calcutta: The draw for the AFC Cup Under-20 Championship finals will be made in the city on April 15.
Juniji Ogura, chairman of AFCs Youth Competitions Committee, will be conducting the draw at a city hotel. He will be assisted by AFC assistant general secretary Dato Paulmoni.
Calcutta and Bangalore will be hosting the matches simultaneously from October 29 to November 12. Eight teams each will feature in the two centres. India will be among the participants, as the hosts.
According to IFA secretary Subrata Dutta, the dates of the AFC meet wont clash with the local calendar. We will be holding the IFA Shield in August this year and by end-October, the league will also be over, said Dutta.
