SUBJECT: All-India entrance test to be held for admission to MBBS course in Calcutta (in eastern region) on May 28.

ELIGIBILITY: Class XII (or equivalent) pass with physics, chemistry, biology (PCB) and English, with 50 per cent marks in PCB. Candidates appearing for the exam may also apply. Minimum age is 17 years as on or before December 31, 2006.

SUBJECT: Combined entrance test to be held on May 27, 2006, for admission to first year MBBS course 2006-2007 in Katihar Medical College, Katihar, Bihar, and Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College and L.S.K. Hospital, Kishanganj, Bihar.

ELIGIBILITY: The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board or university and must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry, botany and zoology taken together and passed in English. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying marks is 40 per cent. Those appearing for these exams may also apply but their candidature shall be valid only when they pass the qualifying exam with the required marks before the date of counselling. The minimum age is 17 years as on or before December 31, 2006.
