I gave up my Ph.D midway to fight for the rights
of the tribal people. I have received innumerable awards
for my efforts, one of which is the Human Rights Defender’s
Award from the Amnesty International. I was on hunger strike
recently to protest against the government’s decision
to raise the level of a dam. Who am I?
