Jeev up to tied fourth

Nagoya: Jeev Milkha Singh kept himself in line for a top-five finish after recording a one-under 69 in the third round of the ?120 million International Crowns golf tournament here on Saturday.

Jeev came up with a string of nine pars on the back-stretch for a tied-fourth finish and 10 shots behind leader Shingo Katayama at the Nagoya Golf Club’s Wago Course. The Indian had been in fifth spot at the halfway stage.

Katayama shot nine birdies and one bogey in a classy round that took him to 18-under and five clear of Nozomi Kawahara (67), who is at 13-under. (PTI)
