New Delhi: The Indian junior boxing team has lifted the Moster Cup after winning a rich haul of five gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo.
Out of the 11-member team, 10 colts managed to get medals in an elite field of nine countries, including England, who finished second with three gold medals in the championships held from May 18 to 21.
Coach Dharmendra Singh Yadav, who accompanied the boxers at the four-day event, said it was a satisfying outing for his wards, who used the opportunity to identify their areas of improvement.

Gold: Paramjeet Singh (48kg), Hemant Sahu (51kg), M. Suresh (54kg), Paramjeet Samota (91 kg), Parveen Kumar (91+). Silver: Rakesh Kalasakar (60kg), Manpreet Singh (81kg). Bronze: Chhotelal Yadav (67kg), Pradeep Thakran (64kg), Gurlal Singh (75kg).
