Gas price hike

New Delhi, July 18: The government has raised the price of state administered natural gas (called APM gas) by 20 per cent to Rs 3,840 per thousand cubic meters. This will result in higher revenue for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation but increase fuel cost of small industries and city gas distribution (CGD) projects in Delhi and Mumbai.

Farnborough, July 18: Kingfisher Airlines has signed two separate agreements with Pratt&Whitney (PW) for the purchase and maintenance of 10 PW4000-100 engines for its A-330 fleet and for the maintenance of the engines of its fleet of ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft, totalling $360 million.
