New Delhi: Pakistan’s M. Shoaib Hassan defeated India’s Saurav Ghosal in the men’s open final to clinch the Northern Open Squash Championships here on Tuesday.
Hassan overcame the challenge of the Indian star with a 2-9, 9-5, 2-9, 9-1, 9-3 win.
In the women’s final, India’s Mekhla Subedar beat Surbhi Mishra 9-4, 6-9, 9-4, 9-4.
Meanwhile, India’s challenge at the World Junior Men’s Squash Championship in New Zealand, came to an end on Tuesday with the third round exit of Sandeep Jangra and Parth Sharma.
