Calcutta: Overnight leader Gaganjeet Bhullar played attacking golf to win the Royal Challenge Northern India Amatuer Golf Championship played at the par-72 Classic Golf Resort here on Friday. Bhullar, who shot a one-under 71 in the final round, carded an overall five-under 211.

According to information received here, Bhullar staved off stiff challenges from Himmat Rai and Manav Jaini to emerge champion. Rai fired the day’s best round of two-under -70.
