New Delhi, Aug. 17: Byelections to the Katwa, Malda and Purulia Lok Sabha constituencies and the Bongaon Assembly seat will be held on September 16, the Election Commission announced today.

Filing of nominations will begin on August 23 and continue till August 30. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is September 2.

Counting of votes will take place on September 19.
