London: The second ODI between Indian eves and their English counterparts was abandoned due to rains.

The hosts were batting at 42 for 2 off 16 overs when play at Denis Compton Oval in Shenley was called off on Thursday.

Jhulan Goswami and Amita Sharma took one wicket each.

England lead the five match ODI series 1-0. (PTI)
