Q: What is your role in Shravan Rathod’s Kaash Mere Hote
I am being pitted opposite Kumar Saahil and the second lead Sana Mirza who believes in practising black magic and I do not believe in it.

Q:Why did you accept working with a newcomer?
I was also new at some point of time and so there’s nothing wrong in working with a newcomer.

Q:But as a newcomer you worked opposite Salman?
I was lucky to debut with Salman, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be encouraging a newcomer. I am here to do my job. As long as I am comfortable with people around me I do not mind working with them.

Q:What happened to your film Aryan?
Well, it is ready for release. It will release probably in November.

Q:Do you believe in exposure?
I belong to a family where unnecessary revealing has never been permitted. I do not like it, nor will I invite it.

Q:What kind of outfits would be comfortable for you?
Nothing more comfortable than a skirt.

Q:Since you are working in a film that shows black magic do you believe in it in your
real life?
I do not believe in black magic but, yes, I believe in luck.

Q:So does this mean that belonging to a Saraswat Brahmin family you take every step after looking up your horoscope?
I am not that deeply involved in these things but, yes, I do read my daily horoscope for time-pass.

Q:What’s your star sign?
I am a Saggitarian.

Q:You haven’t landed any work with the bigwigs of Bollywood?
There’s nothing big or small, I love working with new people because they have new ideas.

Q:You have recently turned down an offer from Yash Raj Films?
These are all gossip being spread. I have not got any offer from the Yash Raj banner.

Q:Is it because you are too outspoken?
I am getting a lot of offers which I have turned down because I do not believe in contemporary films which have lots of exposure. Revealing is totally against my upbringing. As a youth I have no attitude, but I like to do what according to me is right.

Q:Other than films what are your passions?
I am an animal lover. I was also representing PETA but now since I am a little busy I work as and when I get time. I like to serve them.

Q:Tell us something we don’t know about Sneha Ullal?
I was a sports lover, a very good athlete and used to play hockey— centre-half position — which is really very tough to handle. I never knew I will ever become an actress since I was a sports person.

THE PLACE: The mahurat held recently for Shravan Rathod’s film, Kaash Mere Hote, directed by B.H. Tharun.

THE SHOT: The mahurat shot took place with a dance sequence with the debutant Kumar Saahil.

THE TIME: Immediately after the mahurat shot, Sneha Ullal was gheraoed by photographers and the electronic media. The venue was jampacked with press and around 500? guests from Punjab, since the hero is a Punjab da puttar.

THE HITCH: During the course of the interview by the electronic media, Sneha Ullal was unconsciously nudged resulting in a slight panga. Sneha immediately refused to face further questions and took a chair and sat down with her father in one corner. The electronic media decided not to probe her anymore and walked out.

THE INTERVIEW: Later, she relented. Cheeky girl that she is, she shot back the first question, “What happened, there was some problem?” When told, ‘You refused to talk...’ she politely answered, “Not at all.”
