B-school feat

Calcutta, Sept. 26: The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) has become the first B-school in the country — and second in Asia — to have received accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration for its postgraduate programme in international management consulting.

“The five-year accreditation is recognised in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the US,” said director Ashoke K. Dutta. The part-time course is for software engineers who can’t decide whether to stick to lucrative jobs or pursue an MBA.
