Book launch

Madhabi’s Rannaghor, a cookbook of Bengali recipes by actress Madhabi Mukherjee, will be launched at The Oberoi Grand, 12.30 pm.

Eye on art

Concepts & Ideas 2006, an exhibition of works by various artists, will open at CIMA Gallery, 6.30 pm. Nature in Meditation, paintings by Satyen Ghosal, at Gallery Sanskriti, 11 am to 8 pm. A show of paintings by French artist Christian Cailleaux, at Akar Prakar, 3 pm to 8 pm. Southern Alternative, paintings by artists from South India, at Artists Circle, 46, Circus Avenue, 2 pm-7 pm. An installation project by Bose Krishnamachari, at Galerie 88, 11 am to 7 pm.
