Bangalore: Decks have been cleared for the start of the Bangalore winter season from Fridday. The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) trainers have been protesting against the syces’ provident fund issue and refusing to enter their wards, leading it to the cancellation of the season’s opener on November 4.

Now with BTC agreeing to set up a joint committee to look into the labour problems, which also includes the PF issue, the normalcy may return.
