Doha: A Qatar-based Indian woman, who was working as a volunteer at the Asian Games here, was killed in a road accident.

The 60-year-old woman, whose identity has not been revealed as yet, was hit by a car when she was crossing a busy street on Sunday, organisers said.

“The lady was crossing the road in front of the Hamad Hospital when the accident happened,” spokesman Ahmedabdulla al Khulaifi said. (PTI)
