Simpler science
I am an avid reader of KnowHow. One can see that its character has undergone a subtle change over the years. If I am not mistaken, it was begun with the aim of developing a keen interest among youngsters in science. This, however, does not seem to be the case any longer. Science and technology stories should be simpler if youngsters are to be roped in. More importantly, they must be clothed in a more interesting manner. After all, there are many who might be interested in science apart from scientists and those in the science fraternity.

Reality bites
I was very disappointed with you
for doing away with the Reality Check column. I am sure
many of your readers share my disappointment. Also, I dont
understand why an informative column like Crystal Ball doesnt
appear regularly on your pages. I am not saying that innovation
is not good, but it should not compromise the values and
contents of a great science supplement.

More tech please
It would be nice if your editorial team can give us more articles on emerging technologies, like the latest TVs and other home appliances. I regularly look forward to reading Bits & Bytes and request you to carry more such columns. I am sure it will be a value addition to your paper.

Need for caution
Apropos Beware of steel stents (December 4), the very thought that such an innovative surgical procedure is fraught with dangers is really very scary. This just goes on to show that more and more trials and tests are needed before hailing such medical miracles.
