It was Ranadeb who turned the tide in favour of bengal with his match winning performance of seven for just 25 runs.
With victory at sight, Bengal batsmen kept their cool but young Absolem accounted for overnight batsmen Avishek Jhunjhunwala (39) and Manoj Tewari (23) which brought in Deep at the crease.
Sourashish Lahiri (29) gave the skipper good company but was trapped by P.K. Reddy and Laxmi Ratan Shukla (4) followed soon. Deep and the experienced Rohan Gavaskar scored the remaining runs to log four points for Bengal.
For the hosts, MP Arjun and Absolem claimed two wickets apiece and P.K. Reddy and P. Ojha took one wicket each.
