Night of the Fox

It’s about: Based on Jack Higgins’ electrifying World War II novel, this docudrama is about the daring exploits of a Nazi impersonator who was given the task to protect the immense military secret of D-Day. On the German-occupied British island of Jersey, Colonel Hugh Kelso — the one man who could give it all away — is washed ashore. The Allied High Command sends in Harry Martineau, a deadly Nazi impersonator, and Sara Drayton, a British girl posing as his French mistress, to rescue Kelso or to silence him.

Republic Day Exclusive: Nobel Peace Prize Concert

It’s about: Each year on the death anniversary of Alfred Nobel, the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place in Norway and a day after the Nobel Peace Prize Concert is held with much pomp and grandeur. Some of the biggest names in music come together to pay tribute to the winners of the this Prize. Acts featured include Cat Stevens, Lionel Ritchie, Rihanna, Simply Red and many others. Hosted by Anjelica Huston and Sharon Stone, this star-studded event is for those with a fine taste in music.

Norah Jones: Live in New Orleans

It’s about: Young, soft-voiced jazz and pop singer Norah Jones does a beautiful live version of The Band’s Basement Tapes song Bessie Smith in this grand show. Norah’s career was launched with her massively successful 2002 debut album Come Away With Me, a contemporary pop album with a sensuous plaintive soul, folk and country tinge, that sold 20 million copies worldwide and received eight Grammy Awards including the Best New Artiste album.

It’s about: It’s the 1950s and a progressive art history teacher, Katherine Watson, is on a mission — to imbue Wellesley College girls with the ambition to lead fulfilling lives. But for all their intelligence, the girls seem to have only one thing in mind — marriage, a family and a lovely house.

Whom to watch: Academy Award winner Julia Roberts puts in a courageous performance as teacher Katherine Watson.
