Bangalore: HASC defeated Sporting Clube de Goa 2-1 in a fifth round match of the NFL on Sunday.
Xavier Vijayakumar scored in the 44th minute and Satish Kumar in the 82nd for HASC, while Sporting reduced the margin in the 70th through a penalty kick, converted by Nigerian Macpherlin Dudu.
The win puts HASC ahead of Mohun Bagan and Sporting, who both have four points from five matches. HASC are in eighth place with five points. (PTI)
