No pressure from Munaf: Sreesanth

Kochi: Team India mediumpacer Sreesanth on Sunday said the team is peaking at the right time before next month’s World Cup in the Caribbean islands.

“The team has peaked at the right time and everyone has shown fine touch,” the 24-year-old said after returning from Visakhapatnam, where India won the final one-day International against the visiting Sri Lankans to seal the series 2-1.

On which other country he feels could win the title, Sreesanth replied, “it could be Australia”.

On whether he is under pressure from Munaf Patel in his bid to find a place in the Team India XI for the World Cup, Sreesanth said, “Not at all. We help each other to improve our bowling”.
