I Think
Is the CAB responsible for the Eden fiasco?

Yes the CAB is responsible for the Eden fiasco. They should have taken the necessary precautions, since rain had been predicted. Instead, they did not even bring back the second ground-sopping machine that was kept at the Jadavpur University grounds. Prasun Mukherjee has failed as CAB president. Better luck to him and his team for the next match.

Saurav Taragi
Bhawanipur Education Society

No, the CAB ought not to be held responsible for the Eden fiasco. The body has successfully organised historic matches in the past, and if we blame a body which has readied the ground at such a short notice for the match, we are definitely not justified.

Rajesh Beriwal
St Xaviers College

Yes. it is mismanagement that is responsible for the Eden fiasco. And the CAB cannot shrug off responsibility.

Debarati Basu
Calcutta

No, the CAB is not responsible for the Eden fiasco. It’s the weather gods that played spoilsport and deprived the Calcuttans of a wonderful encounter.
