PCB meeting on March 31

Calcutta: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to launch “a comprehensive new structure and plan” for the game at home following Inzamam-ul Haq & Co.’s shock exit from World Cup.

In a PCB release, received here on Sunday, chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf said that “the board and myself are as disturbed over the result as the rest of the nation.”

The PCB ad-hoc committee is scheduled to meet on March 31 in Lahore following the team’s return from the West Indies, to finalise the strategy after which the future action plan to build a strong cricket set-up would be announced, the release stated.
